We all have our favorite dog breeds; and if you're anything like me, you will think your pup is the best kind of dog to own. The American Kennel Club released their list of 50 favorite canines for 2019 for individuals with active lifestyles and for families. Here are some of the findings:

- Mini Schnauzers
- Pug
- Border Collie
- Chihuahua
- Maltese
- Siberian Husky
- Boxer
- Beagle
- Golden Retreiver
- Basset Hound
- and....since 1991, AKC chooses the Labrador Retriever to be the best dog to own!
