Pet Behavior, Labor Day

Pet Behavior, Labor Day

People around the country are gearing up to celebrate Labor Day, as a last horrah before kids go back to school. While individuals are planning parties, they need to think about their pets and how they will fair during the day surrounded by new faces and banter. Dog behavior may go from shy and calm to skittish and hyper.

Pet owners with this concern should consider placing their dogs outside in the fenced in yard for the duration of the party - especially during college football games this weekend and on Monday.

Dogs will need to have fresh water and a cool place to shelter them from the heat during this time. Keep eye on dogs during Labor Days parties this weekend.
