100' Cat Fence Conversion Kit (1' Extension)
- ground stakes
- fence posts
Everything is so much better, stronger than the fencing I bought from another company. The installation is easy and provides the protection our cats need.
I got the 100 ft /1ft extension conversion cat fence and the arms were easy to install once I got the right screws. My wooden fence posts must have metal running through them because I couldn't get all the screws to go all the way in. I went to the hardware store and got shorter ones. The posts are SOLID and I knew it'd be okay to get slightly shorter screws. The mesh is easy to zip tie into the arms. My cats will dig, so I also needed the wire mesh and ground stakes to make a no-dig border at the bottom. All in all, fairly simple way to go, but I didn't order everything all at once and that was because I didn't plan it out and actually go out to the yard and look at the layout, measure how many arms i was going to need (plan for corners and turns, and gates too!) The awesome thing is their shipping was LIGHTNING FAST. I would say it's be totally okay for the average homeowner to do themselves. Definitely need a drill and staple gun. Just don't expect to do it all in a day unless you know you have everything laid out and measured. Much easier with two people.
Good product worked as advertised.
This product attached to my fence easy and works great
We've been looking for something to keep our two 7 year old indoor/outdoor cats safer especially as they get older. We also have two new kittens and wanted them to enjoy the outdoors safely. We purchased the conversion kit and installed it on a 6 foot existing fence. We love it - no escapes - only long looks. The top piece is so high and so daunting even my most clever female hasn't tried to make the climb. Very impressed with the quality and interested in future purchase of full fence kit to expand to allow access to entire yard. Very pleased!
