Fall Dog Safety Tips - Prevention & Safety Guide

We are just days away from the first day of fall; and we are all looking forward to cooler weather - including our pets. 'Tis the season to keep watch on our pets, as we continue to see deer ticks and eat candy on Halloween. 

Halloween will be here before you know it; and the Halloween candy is already on sale at grocery stores. Throw away aluminum foil wrappers that animals can choke on and keep chocolate away from them, as well. Sugary treats can make dogs and cats very sick.

Tick Season isn't over. In fact, it never really ends. While the weather is cool, pet owners may be tempted to take their animals on a day hiking trip. Groom pets for ticks and check underneath fur. Remove a tick promptly from both dogs and cats. (The process is the same for humans.)
