Adopt Shelter Dogs!

Sure, anyone can be a pet owner; but what makes a responsible pet owner? It's not just about buying toys and playing with dogs; but about providing them with basic needs such as healthy dog foods; animal care; shelter and exercise.

For animal enthusiasts that think they are ready to adopt a puppy or adult dog, they should consider adopting from a local animal shelter. Approximately 6.5 million companion animals enter U.S. animal shelters nationwide every year. Of those, approximately 3.3 million are dogs. Homeless dogs are not always "bad dogs." They may have been abandoned or emotionally or physically damaged by previous owners. Adopting shelter dogs is noble and will give companion animals a second chance at finding a forever home.

The ASPCA declares October to be Adopt a Shelter Dog Month. For animal enthusiasts that do adopt dogs this month, will offer additional discounts on dog fencing. Call to learn more.

And, remember, Adopt. Don't Shop!
