Photo Contest

Who May Enter

Entrants must be verifiable DeerBusters.com or EasyPetFence.com customers. All entrants and winners must be 21 years of age or older. Employees of Trident Enterprises or immediate family members are not eligible. Entrants may enter more than one photo, but an entrant can only win one prize.

 

How To Enter

Send your best color photo of your fence project by emailing your photo and comments to marketing@tridentcorp.com, following the instructions below.

 

Only photos of projects using DeerBusters.com or EasyPetFence.com products are allowed.

 

Minor digital enhancements for cropping and red-eye removal are permitted, but images judged to be significantly altered will be disqualified. Do not place borders or frames around images or place watermarks, signatures, dates, or copyright notices on images. Images must maintain the integrity of a proper product installation and will be judged accordingly. The products shown in the photos must have been purchased from DeerBusters.com or EasyPetFence.com.

 

When To Enter

The contest ends September 8, 2023, at 11:59 pm.  All submissions must be submitted and received by this deadline.

 

Rules for Digital Submissions

Shoot original photographs in the highest resolution possible, 1 MB (or larger), at 300 dpi resolution. The file name must identify the photographer and type of product. Rename the images with the Product and Photographer's last name. Example: "hd_trident_poly-smith.jpg.” By submitting your photo and entering the contest, you certify that you have read all Official Contest Rules and accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Trident Enterprises, which shall be final, binding, and conclusive on all matters. All submitted photographs become the exclusive property of Trident Enterprises and will not be returned or acknowledged. All prize winners will be asked to submit a copy of the original high-resolution file.

 

Trident Enterprises will not be responsible for lost, delayed, damaged, misdirected, or illegible submissions or any computer, telephone, cable, network, electronic, or Internet hardware or software malfunctions, failures, or unavailability. The contest is void where prohibited, taxed, or otherwise restricted by law.

 

Prizes

Category 1: DeerBusters.com Image | Category 2: EasyPetFence.com Image 

1st Place Prize, one winner for each category: A $150 Money Card

2nd Place Prize, one winner for each category: A $100 Money Card

3rd Place Prize, one winner for each category: A $50 Money Card

 

All prizes are non-transferable and voided where prohibited by law. All prizes will be given away by Trident Enterprises. The odds of winning a prize will depend on the number of qualified entries. Trident Enterprises may substitute another prize of equal value in the event of the non-availability of an announced prize. No cash substitution of prizes will be allowed.

 

Judging

Judging will be conducted by Trident Enterprises’ employees. Judging criteria will include (1) the relevance of the photo entry depicting the requirements for the categories, (2) Originality, and (3) Overall scope of the project.

 

Winners

The prize winners will be notified via email and announced on Facebook and Instagram within 30 days of the end of the contest. At that time, prize winners may be asked to submit the original digital file (digital files should not be less than 1 MB and 300 dpi resolution). Please allow 8 to 10 weeks after the contest has ended for prizes to be delivered. Prizes may be mailed first- or second-class U.S. Mail at the discretion of Trident Enterprises. If the prize is to be mailed, it is the responsibility of the winners to provide Trident Enterprises with a current and correct mailing address. Trident Enterprises is not responsible for the failure or tardiness of prizes delivered via the US Postal Service, nor is it obligated to replace any lost, stolen, or damaged prize delivered via US Postal Service. Proper identification (valid driver's license, passport, state ID, military ID) may be required for registered mail.

 

Winners' photos and names will be posted on the appropriate Trident Enterprises website within 60 days of the end of the contest. Non-winning photos may also be posted. Prize winners may be required to execute an Affidavit of Eligibility/Originality and Publicity/Liability Release. All required documentation must be returned within 14 days of the date appearing on the letter of notification, or the prize will be forfeited.

 

Winners will be responsible for paying any taxes they may owe on a prize. In the event of non-compliance with these requirements, the prize will be forfeited, and the entry with the next highest score will be declared the winner. Trident Enterprises reserves the right to disqualify entrants and/or cancel or suspend the contest should unauthorized intervention or other causes corrupt the administration, security, fairness, integrity, or proper operation of the contest.

 

Rights to Photograph

An entrant must hold all rights to the photograph that is submitted. Submission of an entry grants Trident Enterprises the unrestricted right to modify, edit, adapt, alter, publish, and/or use the submitted photograph in any way, at any time, and in all media in connection with the advertising or promotion of Trident Enterprises products, without consideration or payment to the entrant or to any other third party. Trident Enterprises also reserves the right to include the name of the entrant and the city and state where the photo was taken in all such above-described advertising and promotional activities. Specific addresses will not be disclosed.

 

The entrant represents that any person depicted in the photograph (or, if a minor, the minor's parent or guardian) consents to Trident Enterprises’ use of the photograph in accordance with these Official Contest Rules. The entrant is solely responsible for obtaining necessary authorizations (e.g., model release forms, etc.) from the person(people), the parents or legal guardians of minors, and the owners of all private property and trademarks appearing in the photograph to take the photograph and to grant Trident Enterprises the rights herein granted. Entrant further represents that the photo does not infringe or violate any third-party rights.

 

Release of Liability

All entrants release Trident Enterprises and each of Trident Enterprises’ officers, directors, agents, employees, and all others associated with the development and execution of this contest from any and all liability with respect to, or in any way arising from this contest, and/or use of the prizes, including liability for personal injury. Trident Enterprises is not responsible for printing, production, typographical errors, omissions, or other similar errors or omissions.

 

By sending your submission and entering the contest, you certify that you have read all Official Contest Rules and accept and agree to be bound by these rules and the decisions of Trident Enterprises, which shall be final, binding, and conclusive on all matters. All entries and photographs become the exclusive property of Trident Enterprises and will not be returned or acknowledged.

Photos appearing harmful to a pet or animal will be disqualified.
