Stake Down Dog Fence
When choosing accessories for dog fences, always consider ground stakes. No matter which type of fence installed on properties, staking down the fence will not only stop digging dogs from getting out of the fence area, but will stop wildlife and stray cats from digging into the fence line.
The type of fence stake installed around a fence will depend on the hardness of the ground. There are two types of fence stakes: Rebar and Kinked. If soil is rocky, clay or harder to manage, then Rebar Ground Stakes are appropriate and will stay in the ground easier than a Kinked Ground Stake. For average soils that may be soft, use Kinked Ground Stakes.
The ground stakes can be driven into the ground with a hammer and should be spaced about five feet apart from each other.
