Indy Animals For Free
Future pet owners should consider adopting pets from Indianapolis Animal Care Services (IACS). Why? Pet adoption is free.
Because the IACS is out of space at the facility, they are urging people to adopt dogs and cats now.
According to Indy Star, new pet owners must be at least 21 years. If you already own a pet, proof of current rabies vaccinations is required. Renters must bring a copy of the lease agreement or landlord's telephone number to verify the home can have pets.
Fostering pets is also an option.
IACS is located at 2600 S. Harding Street.
