Spring Allergies In Pets
For the pet owner, spring is a great time to play with pets while doing lawn care and gardening. For dogs, they will be able to bond with their owners and socialize with other animals while getting fit. But, spring brings breathing complications and the occasional ah--choo moment for both pet owners and pets because of what's in the air.
Did you know that pets can be allergic to certain spring plants and even pollen? While non-life threatening, some plants can make animals very ill if ingested and can cause itching, sniffling, and sneezing. Dogs can even be allergic to be stings and face facial irritation or swelling.
Spring can be a lot of fun in the yard for both pets and pet owners; but allergies certainly come with the change of seasons.
