Securing your outdoor pet enclosure is important for not only keeping your pet dog or cat securely in the fence system, but for keeping out wildlife that may try to harm the pet. For hard or rocky soil, we suggest installing J Hook rebar ground stakes to the bottom of your outdoor pet enclosure. These metal ground stakes are made from hardened 3/8" rebar with a hook end for secure fastening to the ground. Place these rebar fence stakes approximately every 5 feet along the bottom of your pet fence. Rebar ground stakes are sold in packs of 20.
